“Doctor, I’m Seeing Angels Again”: On Collective Representation and Lived Tradition

The modern scientific “objective” perception is entirely concerned with phenomena, like a researcher who experiences life entirely through microscope slides, failing to look at the beautiful world surrounding him, and then stubbornly dictates that his is the only true way of knowing and everything existing outside of those few inches of glass is a fantasy, an aberration.

Why Lent Matters

The world, it can be said, began anew with the Resurrection. Man, whose true nature had been disfigured after the Fall that had taken place in Eden, has now been restored. History now becomes sacred history– what the Church would call the Sixth Age of the World. Just as when we participate in the Liturgy, surrounded by the icons of saints and angels, we are no longer a part of profane time, but entering into a sacred time, the eternal time-beyond-time that exists with God. Likewise, when we participate in Lent, we are recovering those events which led to the sanctification of mankind which restored the human race to it’s Primordial condition and gave man a new and unique place in the cosmos.

The Faustian Soul

After Achilles had defeated Hector in battle, his chariot dragged his corpse by the heels. Such was the hubristic spirit of our Indo-European ancestors — warrior nomads who conquered and ruled peoples from Europe to Asia, millennia before anyone had heard of Alexander. But the same spirit which restlessly pursued immortality in fame and glory would not only cause their European descendants to circumnavigate the globe and conquer its poles but map the human genome also; not only has the White man needed to tower into the skies and conquer the moon, but that spirit has searched the depths of its own soul to master itself.

A Call for a Techno-Conservative Counter-Revolution

If Facebook likes and retweets are one-night stands, disposable and uncomplicated stories that are quickly replaced by new, more exciting counterparts—then books are long relationships that make a lasting imprint. It takes a while before you really get to know the other party, and when it’s over you may feel empty but also happy that you found each other. You may even have a new view of the world. Patience lies in the very nature of the matter.

Traditionum Ex Machina

For many, there is an overwhelming terror of automation. The primary fear of automation is that it will make working citizens obsolete and lead to mass unemployment. For us in the West though, we needn’t worry about this crisis, preventing us from having mass unemployment due to automation. Economically there will always be jobs more efficient for people to do than for robots, though many of these jobs are not currently in existence. With all this in account, you may ask “how can automation be helpful to us?”.

The Domination

Imagine the defeated remnants of every war and revolution in Western history from the eighteenth century onward. These remnants, who fought to maintain their slave owning lifestyle or their position of nobility, have now been spirited away to a far off place where they manage to set up a colony in some remote part of the world, at the time untouched by civilization, surrounded on all sides by savage tribes.

The Brown Scare

America as well as Europe need to finally put the ghost of fascism to rest. Irreparable damage has already been dealt to both societies as the collective form of inherited guilt hanging over the heads of people who aren’t old enough to remember or had anything to do with the Second World War has allowed the rulers of their societies to be convinced into throwing open the borders of the nations of the West allowing for the settlement of people’s with such distinct cultures and incompatible views and lifestyles that any hope of assimilating them into Western society is immediately made impossible.

The essential movies about the Crusades

The terrific film released in May 2005 to movie theatres nationwide was only a part of the great vision director Ridley Scott had for this incredible story. The director’s cut, released on DVD in 2007, presents Scott’s epic the way it was meant to be seen. Orlando Bloom stars as Balian de Ibelin, as he travels to Jerusalem during the Crusades to find himself the ultimate defender of his city and people. While some director’s cut only change a few brief moments in the film, this immensely different cut is a completely different film. It is “radically altered from the financially unsuccessful version that unspooled in theatres in the summer of 2005,” and is in every way a better movie.

Concerning Nihilism: Overcoming the Black Pill

We need to understand that this is it, there is no going back, no running away. Life is a last stand and the cavalry isn’t coming around the hill to save us. Our duty is to hold on to the lost position, without hope of rescue or thought of surrender.

The Heroism of General Suharto of Indonesia:

In October of 2017, the world’s media were abuzz over the “declassified documents that prove the US aided former dictator of Indonesia in slaughtering 500,000 suspected Communists in 1965.” The text of each article, from the Washington Post to the Hindu Times, was identical – for no reason, the Army slaughtered helpless men, women and children because they sought absolute power. They invented a “Communist plot” to justify it. Because of almost total ignorance about the country, the left was free to engage in a totally unfiltered ideological projection to be written as “history.”
Academics and journalists such as John Roosa and Brad Simpson spread the story that the three million cadres of the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) were not interested in gaining power by force. No one is sure what the three million members were for.
With the economy collapsing, Gen. Suharto brought unity to the Army and smashed this attempt to bring this nation into Mao’s grip. The Army estimates about 78,000 were killed in what amounted to a low level civil war between the far left and the armed forces. He then took a country suffering from economic stagnation and inflation of 1000% and turned it into a modern economy in 20 years.

Free Trade’s Body Count

The drug violence in the border between the US and Mexico continues to claim lives. Thousands yearly are murdered in turf wars among the numerous gangs competing for the lucrative US market. One of the main problems has been the NAFTA “free trade” agreement that has made it easier for drug smugglers to bring their product to American cities. Without substantial economic reform and the rejection of the WTO, the drug situation will continue to spiral out of control.

American Racialism VS European Nationalism

I
f the nation does not defend and represent the interests of the root people, it ceases to be a nation. The root people cannot identify with the alien construct that was once their nation. They thus turn to another group to identify with (race instead of nation). This is what happened in America and will also happen in Europe in about twenty years if current trends continue. The demographic replacement has a silver lining.
